What do you actually do at Bettermove (in plain English)?
My role at Bettermove is an Account Manager. Within this role, I help vendors through the selling process, which involves guiding the selling process from start to finish. It can involve communication with the vendor and understanding their needs.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I enjoy taking my golden Labrador on long walks, and spending time with my family, doing pub quiz’s.
What’s something people would never guess about you?
I used to be a chef before going into property.
What’s your favourite thing right now — a food, film, show, hobby, gadget or place you love?
Right now I am loving watching the world cup, love the competitive side of it.
What’s the most unusual or surprising job you’ve ever had before Bettermove?
I have worked on international children charity summer camps, to help bring together kids from all over the world.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
To not try something just because you think you won’t succeed.
What’s your go-to guilty pleasure (food, show, snack or soundtrack)?
My guilty pleasure is the spicy meat feast pizza from Wetherspoons, just can’t go wrong.
What’s one thing you think Bettermove does better than anyone else?
Bettermove has a fantastic team, who’s organisation skills are best i’ve seen.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about property that you wish more people understood?
No matter the condition of a property, the location of it, is the most important everything else can be changed.
What’s the most useful skill you’ve developed since working in property?
Since working in property my communication and organisation skills have improved massively with having to keep in touch with buyers and vendors constantly.
