What do you actually do at Bettermove (in plain English)?
When you first make an enquiry with Bettermove I am one of the consultants who will contact you to see what the purpose of your enquiry was & how we can help. I’ll run through some questions about your property & explain the options we have available. I’ll present you with the offers & ensure you’re comfortable with the process. I also have a team of Consultants I look after (Henry, Dan & Leo), I’m their point of contact if they need any help in their role.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love cooking. Whether that’s cooking tea for me & my partner or hosting a dinner party. I find cooking therapeutic & a way to decompress after a stressful day.
What’s something people would never guess about you?
I’ve climbed an active volcano in Bali.
What’s your favourite thing right now — a food, film, show, hobby, gadget or place you love?
I’m getting married in 2026 so a lot of my spare time is taken up by wedding planning & DIY. Really enjoying the process & can’t wait to see how it all looks on the big day.
What’s the most unusual or surprising job you’ve ever had before Bettermove?
I worked at a turtle sanctuary on a small island near Bali.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
It’s a cliché but – everything happens for a reason.
What’s your go-to guilty pleasure (food, show, snack or soundtrack)?
Friends. I think I must have watched it at least 20 times, I could probably recite the whole series word for word.
What’s one thing you think Bettermove does better than anyone else?
We genuinely care about our customers. We’ll try to find the best solution for every situation. However if we don’t think our services will be right for you, we’ll be honest so as not to waste your time.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about property that you wish more people understood?
Your home will hold sentimental value, not monetary value.
What’s the most useful skill you’ve developed since working in property?
My communication skills have dramatically improved. With the job I need to be able to speak with vendors to understand their needs & be able to deliver the offers with full transparency on
