What do you actually do at Bettermove (in plain English)?
My job at Bettermove is to book in the viewings for properties and receive feedback from the viewings.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
When I am not at work I am a dancer and dance teacher. I have danced since I was young, I love to perform, teach and choreograph. My preferred styles are jazz, tap and commercial.
What’s something people would never guess about you?
I have torn my ligament in my ankle 21 times
What’s your favourite thing right now — a food, film, show, hobby, gadget or place you love?
I am currently loving Ferida Mcfadden books, reading them or watching Gilmore Girls at home with my little family is all I need.
What’s the most unusual or surprising job you’ve ever had before Bettermove?
I worked in America for three months at a prestigious Theatre Camp called StageDoor in New York. I was an assistant Choreographer and camp counselor. I taught, choreographed and looked after children from the ages of 9 to 18. It was a memorable three months.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Treat yourself now how you would your younger self.
What’s your go-to guilty pleasure (food, show, snack or soundtrack)?
My guilty pleasure is pizza and the Betterman soundtrack.
What’s one thing you think Bettermove does better than anyone else?
We are open and honest about everything; a lot of companies lie or try to hide information. At Bettermove, we are open and honest.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about property that you wish more people understood?
When a property comes with tenants living in situ, you can’t just kick them out because you want the property to live in it. That is actually not the case.
What’s the most useful skill you’ve developed since working in property?
Being able to understand the property world in general a lot more. Also being able to ask for help.
