What do you actually do at Bettermove (in plain English)?
I support people from the moment they decide to sell right through to completion, making sure the journey is simple, transparent, and as quick as possible. My aim is to take the hassle out of the whole thing.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I am usually on a padel court pretending I am far more athletic than I am, out for a run, or watching Leeds United put me through emotional turmoil.
What’s something people would never guess about you?
I can name every country in the world, a totally useless skill, except for quiz nights.
What’s your favourite thing right now — a food, film, show, hobby, gadget or place you love?
Has to be the darts. There is something magical about watching grown adults celebrate like superheroes for hitting the right bit of a circle!
What’s the most unusual or surprising job you’ve ever had before Bettermove?
I used to sell caravans. Yes, really. And no, I can’t get you a good deal anymore.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
You can get into a lot of places wearing a hardhat and a high vis vest.
What’s your go-to guilty pleasure (food, show, snack or soundtrack)?
Rewatching old football highlights as if I don’t already know exactly how they end.
What’s one thing you think Bettermove does better than anyone else?
We turn property stress into property progress. Fast, friendly and without making things more complicated than they need to be.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about property that you wish more people understood?
A speedy sale isn’t magic, it’s about good communication, realistic pricing and making decisions promptly.
What’s the most useful skill you’ve developed since working in property?
Developing an eye for what genuinely adds value to a home, the features, the potential and the details worth highlighting.
