What do you actually do at Bettermove (in plain English)?
I ensure the sale/purchase is progressing accordingly and ensure communication is kept throughout the transaction whether that is with the seller, buyer or solicitors while also providing updates too.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family – typically going on walks.
What’s something people would never guess about you?
Something people would not guess about me is that my family are farmers and i grew up driving tractors and handling livestock from a very young age.
What’s your favourite thing right now — a food, film, show, hobby, gadget or place you love?
My favourite thing right now is I am learning to cook Filipino food and learning the language.

My guilty pleasure is Bridgerton
What’s one thing you think Bettermove does better than anyone else?
I think being realistic and reassuring buying and selling can be one of the most stressful things but being upfront and reassuring throughout the process can take the stress and anxiousness away from this.
But also communication, this is key throughout the whole process from viewings and to completion, we take pride on either answering the phones / emails straight away or coming back as soon as possible. I like to touch base regularly with both buyers and vendors throughout the sale process too.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about property that you wish more people understood?
Solicitors can make or break a deal – solicitors should actively be chasing and keep communication and act accordingly for the client and be contactable. Bad solicitors are passive: they wait to be chased, overlook important details, allow avoidable delays, and leave you in the dark about what’s actually happening. Please always read reviews and do research even if they have been used before the quality may not be the same.
What’s the most useful skill you’ve developed since working in property?
I believe the best skill I have developed is managing expectations and communicating this, not just with Solicitors, buyers and sellers but brokers and surveyors – this makes the process smoother, faster and less stressful.
